Event Details

Art therapist (Evie Dunville) and Early Childhood Educator (Kelly Mowat) will be delivering on online workshop that offers insight and strategies for navigating stress and building capacity through a guided creative process promoting wellness. Building capacity fosters compassion for yourself, other staff, and the children and families in your care from the lens of stress, burnout and compassion fatigue. This integrative experience will examine the multisensory language of expression through creativity, allowing for the development of an appreciation for the process as success. The session will encourage connecting with your inner creativity in an accessible, sustainable and intentional way while learning to recognize the difference between selfishness and self-sufficiency.

Items participants are encouraged to bring along;
-paper
-mark making tool of your choice such as crayons, markers, colored pencils, oil pastels or even just a pen or pencil will work.

Optional items;
-an item you could hold in your hand that has meaning
-a tea light or candle
-a cup of tea:)
