This full-day workshop (lunch included) will introduce the participants to principles of inspiring spaces and a chance to talk with Centre Staff about their values in the classrooms and listen to a presentation from Staff that will feature their thought processes about their environments as well as explain and talk about their passions for their practice. Discussions and ideas on ways in which environments could inspire children, parents and the community will occur before the tour and during the tour.  
We are going to the Valley on this tour!  We are visiting Building Blocks Preschool, 14 Huron Ave. Wolfville. Children can attend this centre from 2yrs-5years of age on a part-time or full-time basis. This small, homelike Centre is innovative, has a beautiful and thoughtful environment and use the natural spaces in the neighbourhood as much as possible.    Little Pumpkins, Inc – Sewing the seeds of Love, 58 School Street, Kentville, NS http://www.littlepumpkins.ca/ “This centre has been inspired by children, for children.” This small center offers programs for children from 2.5 years – 5 years. They are inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach and follow environmental awareness principles.    NSCC Kingstec Campus Learning Centre.  , 236 Belcher St. Kentville http://kingsteccampuslc.com/   This centre delivers programs to children from 3 months – preschoolers. They are inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach and are a Lab School for the ECE program delivered at the NSCC.    We go in all weathers and so you do not miss the outdoor spaces please be prepared for rain, etc.
