This workshop will bring Early Childhood Educators new ways to understand the root  causes of difficult behaviours they may encounter in their work environment, as well as analytical guidance to respond in the most optimal way. 

 This session includes:

 ¨ Some straightforward science brought to you in a simple way about how behaviours     relate to what goes on inside the brain/body

 ¨ Exploring the wide array of developmental milestones and how these can have the power to facilitate or interfere with behaviour

 ¨ The difference between small picture “in the  moment” responses, versus big picture “developmental support”

 ¨ Reflections on the effect of a caregiver’s and parents’ interactive style on a child’s                        behaviour

 ¨ Practical ideas about how to support the child, as well as yourself, within those difficult moments

 ¨ Hands-on moment and live interactive chats

 ¨ Video material
