Come join us for our first meeting of The People Library.
We here at Jane Norman College are doing a trial run of “our version” of The Human Library.

The Human Library was started in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2000. It aimed to address people’s prejudices by helping them to talk to those they may not typically meet. The organization used a library analogy of lending people rather than books.

Our first guest will be Adam Braye. Adam is an early childhood educator who also happens to be transgender. He is an advocate for the transgender community, quality child care and access to mental health for all people. Adam will share his journey, answer questions and help to build awareness and understanding.
